Our History
Custom Printing of Charleston was founded 42 years ago by Clemmie C. Rourk, Jr. Clemmie eagerly started his business in a small room of one of his first residences. As the business began to grow it was eventually moved to a storefront location in the Wespanee Shopping Center West of the Ashley. Over the years Clemmie established a well known reputation for himself as a master craftsman within the print for profit arena. Clemmie's elite craftsmanship, eye for detail and astute business acumen became a thing of legend in and around the Charleston area and beyond. With the ever evolving change in landscape and concepts within the print arena, coupled with a growing desire to retire, Clemmie decided to transfer his ownership to Gerald Blake and Henry Frazier two up in coming young entrepreneurs. Gerald and Henry are now the proud new owners of PALMETTO CUSTOM PRINTING & GRAPHICS, LLC. Even though they are relatively new to the print scene they are eager to embark upon the journey of not only maintaining the well established reputation created by Clemmie but to also cultivating new relationships and broadening new horizons as well. During the transformation, a new outlook was desired so the business was relocated to the 1686 Old Towne Road, Charleston, SC 29407 which is strategically located in the Northbridge Shopping Center, among several other well established restaurants, shops and businesses eagerly servicing the many patrons that live and visit the greater Charleston area.
